FOREST SHOTS. (NEW VERSION OF BLACK FOREST CAKE)

INGREDIENTS:
  • CHOCOLATE CAKE SPONGE- (CRUMBLED)
  • WHIPPED CREAM ( RICHI'S WHIPPED CREAM) u can use amul fresh cream also... 
  • CANNED CHERRIES- 1 tin.
  • CHOCOLATE SHAVES-( 100 GMS)
  • CHERRY SYRUP..( u can use the canned cherries syrup only)
  • ICING BAG WITH STAR NOZZLE
  • FRESH CHERRIES (for garnish)
  • SHOT GLASSES
METHOD:
  • arrange glasses in a tray. ( preferably shot glasses)
  • add one layer of cake crumbles, 2nd layer with the canned cherries, 3rd layer with the whipping cream , sprinkle some cherry syrup and layer it repeating the same. once you finish layering , top the dessert with whipping cream with the icing bag bearing star nozzle.
  • garnish it with fresh cherries and dark chocolate shaves
  • serve chilled.

ala macaroni salad

  




Ingredients:

Serves 4

  • 3 1/2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/3 cup diced pineapples( i used delmonte sliced pineapple in syrup)
  • 1 cup diced red and green bell peppers
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped basil or any fresh herbs on hand (cilantro, chives, thyme)

Method:
  1. Mix half of the mayonnaise with the pasta in a large bowl. Add the chopped ingredients. Sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper. Taste the mixture, add more mayo, as needed.garnish it with fresh herbs and serve chilled....

stuffed baby tomatoes in gravy


Ingredients:
  • baby tomato - 10-15 pcs.
  • paneer- 100 gms (grated)
  • mix nuts ( cashewnuts, raisins,pistachios)- 15 gms
  • salt/pepper
  • garam masala
  • tomato- 2pcs
  • onion-1pc
  • cashew nuts- 10 gms
  • ginger/garlic paste- 15 gms
  • red chilli powder- 1tsp
  • coriander powder- 1tsp
  • dry mango powder- 1/2 tsp
  • kasuri methi- (powdered)- a pinch
  • fresh cream- 2tsp
  • coriander(chopped)- for garnish

Method:
for the tomatoes
  1. scoop out the flesh of tomatoes from inside gently
  2. mix grated paneer, mix nuts, salt and pepper and a pinch of garam masala together.
  3. fill the mixture inside the baby tomatoes and keep it aside
for the gravy
  1. grind toamtoes,onion,cashewnuts into a fine paste
  2. head oil in a pan , add ginger garlic paste and the tomato paste 
  3. cook the gravy till it leaves oil, and then add all the spices
  4. once its cooked, add the  fresh cream, you will see the gravy starts leaving oil on its sides
  5. your gravy is ready.
  6. now add the stuffed tomatoes in gravy , and cook it for 5 mins, cover the pan with lid so that the tomatoes gets cooked , dont vigorously stir the gravy , baby tomatoes are tender , they easily get cooked.
  7. arrange the curry in bowl and garnish it with coriander and leftover nuts.
